Master of Laws (LLM)

Background The LLM is a postgraduate law degree that is recognised all over the world.
Academic pathway Overview: The LLM is designed for Law students and professionals to gain extra knowledge and expertise in a specific area of Law. LLM students will undergo comprehensive legal training, which will open up many career opportunities in the future.

Assessment Method(s): The programme flow of the LLM differs with each institution. Some require students to come up with a thesis while some require students to complete a set amount of classes in order to graduate. Generally, an LLM programme involves plenty of course work and research in a field chosen by the student, such as International Law or Company Law.
